Action-packed Arcane Season 2 trailer teases plenty of mayhem from Jinx

Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of Arcane. The second season of the acclaimed League of Legends animated spin-off is set to premiere later this year, bringing the series to a very disappointing close.

That said, if this trailer is anything to go by, it looks like the series is going to end with a bang. With explosions, dialogue like “I want to rip that laugh out of her throat forever,” and a backing track that’s sure to leave you wanting more for the afternoon ahead, this trailer has whet your appetite for the upcoming season. It focuses on the rivalry between Jinx, Vi, and Caitlyn, though there’s a distinct absence of Jayce and Viktor. We also get a proper look at Singed and a bit more of Warwick.

“Watch it all burn,” Netflix says in the description. Oh, I’m sure we will. You can watch the trailer below.

Arcane season 2 has been in development for several years. The show made its debut on Netflix in 2021. The first season told the story of sisters Jinx and Vi, each caught on different sides of a conflict between the wealthy town of Piltover and the oppressed underground city of Zaun.

Our Chris called the series “a thrill, full of colour and life” in Eurogamer’s review of Arcane’s first season (which was based on the first four episodes), though he still had some reservations. Following its debut, Arcane subsequently won the Emmy for Best Animated Programme.

The second season of Arcane will air in November. Other video game-related animated shows also coming to the streaming service in the future include Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep and a Minecraft series.
