Spelling of Tori He had his eyes set on Dancing with the stars for years, but it took a little push from the former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Brian Austin Green To make things official.
“I thought, ‘What do you think? Should I do it?'” Spelling, 51, recalled exclusively to We weekly on Wednesday, September 4. “And he said, 'Absolutely.'”
Although Green, also 51, was not the only one 90210 Student will compete in the dance reality show (Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty everyone showed up), was Spelling's first phone call. (Green was paired with his now fiancée, Sharna Burgessduring DWTS Season 30 in 2021.)

“I was offered, I think, the first season and it was like a lifelong dream. But I was too scared to say yes,” she confessed.DWTS (released in 2005.)
As for why now is the perfect time to put on her dancing shoes, Spelling noted that this has been her year of “discovering herself.” Spelling added, “So, anything that really scares me, I’m like, ‘Let me try it.’ So I’m going to try it.”

Spelling shares Stella, son Liam, 17, daughter Hattie, 12, son Finn, 12, and son Beau, 7, with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott(Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott in March but indicated their separation date would be June 2023.)
Spelling raved that McDermott has encouraged her in her ballroom endeavors.
“He knows that and he’s been very supportive of me,” Spelling said, noting that they are “great co-parents and very good friends.” She added, “I think that’s important.”
Dancing with the stars Season 33 premieres on ABC on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
