Cryptocurrencies associated with the social messaging giant Telegram recovered strongly after the founder Pavel Durov issued his first public statement since his controversial arrest in France last month.

Similarly, a memecoin was recently launched on the TON network, DOGS, soared more than 6%, becoming the second-biggest gainer in the cryptocurrency market over the 24-hour period.
In addition, the native currency of No-coinThe Web3 game within the Telegram app increased by 4.38%.
Indeed, DOGS, TON and NOT were the second, third and fourth best performing stocks on the market in the last 24 hours.

Why it is important: The demonstration came after Durov broke his silence over his widely criticised arrest by French authorities last month.
“I'm still trying to understand what happened in France, but we hear their concerns. I have made it my personal goal to prevent abusers of the Telegram platform from interfering in the future of our more than 950 million users,” said the Russian-born French citizen.
Durov was arrested amid an investigation into crimes related to child pornography, drug trafficking and fraudulent transactions on the popular social messaging platform.
