The first Everyone still hates Chris The trailer for Comedy Central's upcoming animated remake of The CW comedy Everybody Hates Chris has finally been released. The reimagined series will premiere Wednesday, September 25 on Comedy Central.

What happens in the Everybody Still Hates Chris trailer?
The trailer gives fans their first look at Everybody Still Hates Chris, featuring an animated version of the Johnson family. It also includes a sneak peek of new voiceovers from Chris Rock, who returns as the narrator for the new version. In addition to Rock, original stars Terry Crews and Tichinia Arnold also reprise their respective roles as Chris’ parents, Julius and Rochelle. The original series aired from 2005 to 2009 for four seasons.
“The revival will once again feature Rock’s adult Chris narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, in the late 1980s,” the synopsis reads.
Everybody Still Hates Chris is executive produced by Rock and showrunner Sanjay Shah. Additional voice cast includes Tim Johnson Jr. as young Chris, Ozioma Akagha as Chris’s sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Chris’s brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as Chris’s only friend Greg. Executive produced by Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina. Big Mouth producer Titmouse serves as the animation studio for the series.
