The old friends' next action film, coming to Netflix on August 16, stars Mark and Halle as Mike and Roxanne, former high school sweethearts who reunite when Roxanne recruits Mike, a construction worker, for a high-stakes intelligence mission.
“It was fun. I think a lot of us fantasize about that guy who got away or what my life would have been like if I had stayed with my high school boyfriend,” the Oscar winner said of the project. “Or if I were to meet him again, would you have anything in common? I know I have over the years.”
