Tess, 26, who is also a gymnast, added: “It's a lot harder than when I was competing. The balance beam was my best event and competing on the balance beam was easier than watching him run.”
So while seeing her boyfriend of eight years probably makes her heart race, Tess is in it for the long haul. After all, as she put it, “we're each other's people.”
“We don’t get tired of each other,” he continued. “We don’t feel like we need that break. I think that’s helped us a lot over the last eight years, it’s kept us together. And it’s been a great time.”
