Josh Duggar (Anna Keller's husband)
The eldest of the Duggar children, Josh, was born on March 3, 1988. He also became a conservative activist, campaigning for the Family Research Council.
He resigned after old police records surfaced in 2015 revealing he had been accused of sexually abusing several girls, including his sisters. Jessa and Jillas a teenager. Jessa defended her brother in an interview with Fox News in June, insisting that the worst names people used to refer to Josh were “very exaggerated and a lie, really. I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say that because I was one of the victims.”
His wife also stood by him, even after he admitted to cheating. When he entered a treatment center in 2016, his parents called it “a crucial first step to recovery and healing.” Parents of three children: a daughter mackynzie (October 8, 2009) and their children Miguel (June 15, 2011) and Frame (June 2, 2013)—When the scandal broke, Anna gave birth to her fourth child, MeredithOn July 16, 2015, the same day TLC canceled 19 children. Their fifth child, a boy Mason GarettBorn on September 12, 2017, daughter Maryella Hope arrived on November 27, 2019 and baby number 7, Madyson's Lilywas born on October 23, 2021.
In a federal indictment filed in April 2021, Josh was charged with one count of receipt and possession of child pornography. He pleaded not guilty to both charges. In 2022, Josh was found guilty of both charges and sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison.
