Landman trailer teases Billy Bob Thornton's oil rig drama from Yellowstone creator

Paramount+ has released the official version Man of the earth Trailer for the upcoming oil rig drama from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. The first two episodes will be available to stream beginning Sunday, November 17. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Sundays.

“Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern-day tale of seeking fortune in the world of oil rigs,” the synopsis reads. “Based on the remarkable 11-part podcast Boomtown, the series is a top-down story about thugs and reckless billionaires driving a boom so massive it’s transforming our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.”

What happens in the Landman trailer?

The trailer introduces Billy Bob Thornton, whose character is tasked with managing an oil rig that is hit by a massive explosion. It highlights the dangers of working on oil rigs as the owners of the big oil companies continue to accumulate wealth and power.

Landman is created and executive produced by Sheridan and Christian Wallace. The cast also includes Ali Larter, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie and Paulina Chavez, with Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia and Michael Peña as guest stars.
