Logpoint has announced the appointment of Søren Grubov as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering as the company continues its journey to become a leader in cybersecurity.
With over 20 years of experience in engineering and leadership roles, Grubov joins the company after working at several large organizations and scale-up companies.
He joins Logpoint after spending the last two years as Vice President of Engineering at identity management and governance solutions provider Omada. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles at SimCorp over a seven-year period, as well as 13 years in engineering roles at Microsoft.
In his new role as Logpoint's engineering leader, Grubov will leverage his experience to ensure proactive delivery of products based on high-quality technology, the company said in an announcement.
“We help make our digital society a safer place for organizations and people to navigate, and that requires close collaboration with customers and partners,” said Mikkel Drucker, CEO of Logpoint.
“Søren has a track record of fostering a collaborative engineering approach aligned with business objectives and solving customer challenges through innovative, quality technology.
“I am confident that Søren can reinforce our commitment to delivering value to our customers and partners with easy-to-use products and rapid time-to-value.”
Logpoint’s cyber defense platform is built on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and features behavioral analytics, automation, and case management technologies to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) capabilities.
The offering is targeted at mid-market organizations and MSSPs to help them address cyber threats while complying with Europe’s growing data and cybersecurity regulations.
With Grubov now on board, Logpoint said it is now looking to expand its portfolio, better meet customer needs and broaden its presence in the European market.
“The Logpoint team is passionate about finding solutions to the cyber threat, which continues to grow in complexity and intensity as cybercrime and attacks increase around the world,” Grubov said.
“I share that strong purpose and believe it is the best cultural start to developing technology.
“I look forward to working with the engineering teams and product organization to create the best possible solutions to enable our customers and partners to overcome cyber threats and reduce risks.”
