Machine Gun Kelly Addresses Jelly Roll Feud During PCCAs

PCCA 2024: Machine Gun Kelly admits why his teenage daughter is “not interested” in show business

From bitter enmity to all love.

Kelly machine gun took a moment to honor the evolution of his relationship with jelly roll at the People's Choice Country Awards on September 26.

“We went from hating each other 10 years ago to lifting each other up,” MGK said while accepting the Crossover Song of 2024 award for his collaboration with Jelly Roll on “Lonely Road,” adding, “Comparison is the thief of joy. There is enough space on the sofa for everyone. “We found camaraderie in chaos.”

The giddy singer, whose excited reactions to the evening went viral, shared that winning at the annual awards show was a dream of his. (For a closer look at all the winners, head here.)

“Last year I was there, sitting in that seat, watching my son rock out on that stage,” he added of Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord. “And I was like, 'Man, I hope we're up there one day.' And we are here!

Jelly Roll was not present at the PCAA as it is currently in the middle of its beautifully broken route. The “I Am Not Okay” singer was busy playing a show in Boston, Massachusetts, while many other country stars were busy at the awards show, hosted by Shania Twain.
