Metaphor: ReFantazio demo seems to be on the way

A demo for Metaphor: ReFantazio, Atlus' upcoming epic RPG, is apparently on the way to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The demo is currently available in Korea and Hong Kong, though there is currently no timetable for a Western release.

According to the description of the Xbox listing in Hong KongMetaphor: ReFantazio – Prologue Demo includes opening game and save data that carries over to the full release.

The full game will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PS4, and PC (Steam, Microsoft) on October 11.

As such, this demo will allow players to complete the game's opening early and get started on its lengthy story.

According to director Katsura Hashino (interviewed by the Spanish site Vandal), the game's length is comparable to Persona 5, meaning it will potentially take over 100 hours to complete the story.

We'd better start doing that demonstration now, huh?

Last month I tried out Metaphor: ReFantazio, and while it uses a lot of Persona's DNA, it has its own high fantasy setting.
