Nicolas Darveau-Garneau joins iA Financial Group as artificial intelligence strategic advisor

QUEBEC CITY, September 30, 2024 /PRNewswire/ – iA Financial Corporation Inc. IAG (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Nicolas Darveau-Garneau He will now act as a strategic advisor in the field of artificial intelligence applied to improving the customer experience.

Consequently, Mr. Darveau-Garneau will leave his position as a member of the Company's Board of Directors on October 1, 2024, to dedicate himself to this mandate and other professional projects. He will also cease to be a director on the boards of the Canadian insurers belonging to iA Financial Group.

Mr. Darveau-Garneau had been a director of iA Financial Group and a member of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee since May 2018. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of information technologies, especially in digital innovation in companies. He has an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from University of Waterloo.
