Homie rich quan—a rapper known for songs like “Ride Out” and “Type of Way”—died Sept. 5, a family member and a Fulton County morgue representative confirmed. TMZ on September 5. He was 34 years old.
Quan, whose real name was Devontay Lamar's Decisives—died at his home in Atlanta. His family told TMZ they are devastated and heartbroken by his sudden passing and will be seeking answers.
The investigation into Quan's death is still ongoing, according to TMZ.
E! News reached out to Quan's representatives and the Fulton County Morgue but did not receive a response.
Born in Atlanta, Quan scored his first commercial success with his 2013 single “Type of Way,” which peaked at number 50 on the chart. Billboard Hot 100 lists.
