Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Hanne Sjøberg as its new Vice President of Channels for its Secure Power division in Europe.
Sjøberg is an experienced customer and partner relations veteran, having first joined the company in 2016 and has since held various roles in customer satisfaction, human resources and business development for the Baltic and Nordic regions.
Most recently, she served as Vice President of Customer Satisfaction and Quality, where she led new initiatives designed to transform the customer experience and quality of interaction for end users.
He will replace long-time IT channel chief David Terry, who will now take on a new role leading Schneider Electric’s AI ecosystem.
In an announcement, the company said Sjøberg's efforts to foster a sales- and customer-centric culture will be key to the implementation of its “partner-first” strategy following the introduction of its new EcoXpert Partner Program in July.
“I am delighted to appoint Hanne Sjøberg as our new European Vice President, Channels. Her passion for people, sustainability and innovation will be instrumental in both the success of our new EcoXpert Partner Program and in building on the success of our upcoming commercial, product and partner initiatives,” said Marc Garner, Senior Vice President, Schneider Electric, Secure Power, Europe.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank David Terry for his exceptional leadership of the channel over the past eleven years and look forward to continuing to work together as we address the evolving ecosystem around AI.”
Terry leaves behind a strong springboard for further success, Schneider said, having overseen a period of strong growth that included the establishment of multiple high-profile partnerships with large-scale channel organizations such as Arrow Electronics, ATEA and Bechtle.
He also led the creation and delivery of new sustainability partners and initiatives along with the growth of the company’s data center, critical energy and sustainability solutions in the region.
As her successor, Sjøberg will leverage her extensive client experience to help drive further strategic growth across the region, as well as address demand for data centers and electrical infrastructure, critical power systems and sustainability services.
“I have always been fascinated by the speed of transformation taking place in the technology sector, and even more so given the growing demand for artificial intelligence, critical IT and sustainability solutions,” said Sjøberg.
“I am excited to begin my new role as Vice President, Channels, Europe and look forward to working with our partners to ensure they are equipped with the tools, training and support to take advantage of these ever-evolving market opportunities.”
