Yahoo Entertainment asked you what TV shows you'd like more people to watch, and boy did you deliver.
Television fans know the unbridled joy of finding a community of people who also obsess over their favorite shows. On the other hand, defending that beloved show against skeptics can be exhausting. When the series you've invested so much time and emotion into comes to an end, coping can be just as difficult as a breakup.
Some of the reader-recommended shows are still airing new episodes, while others continued for several seasons. Some recently saw their run interrupted and their most vocal fans have been clamoring for a streaming service to bring them back. Some ended years ago, but still deserve our recognition.
Below are some of their most exciting recommendations. The proposals have been edited for brevity and clarity.
