Every now and then, a new musical film hits theaters, bringing a beloved stage production to the screen. Wicked is the next film of these projects to be released and the expectation has been growing thanks to the cast headed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. A new Wicked The trailer just dropped and I'm completely sold on Grande's portrayal of Glinda. Let's break it all down.
What we know about Wicked It depends on how familiar fans are with the Broadway musical, but director Jon M. Chu will no doubt have plenty of surprises in store along the way. The new trailer for the film can be seen above, and Ariana Grande is seriously knockout. She's obviously nailing the comedic aspects important to the character, but the glimpses of Glinda's more serious side are also touching in these new images. I'm already totally sold on her performance.
