  • When: Dancing with the stars Season 33 premieres September 17 and airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.

  • What to know: Celebrities join the pros to compete in ballroom dancing. The winner takes home the coveted mirror ball trophy.

  • Why you should watch it: Olympic pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik and “false heiress” Anna Delvey are among the cast members.

  • When: Survivor Season 47 premieres September 18 and airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Episodes are available the following day on Paramount+.

  • What to know: A group of castaways in Fiji must survive a series of challenges and interpersonal battles to win a prize of one million dollars.

  • Why you should watch it: There's a reason the show has been around for so long: it's completely different and totally fascinating every year.

  • What to know: On Bachelor Nation's latest show, men between the ages of 57 and 69 compete for the hand of Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old grandmother and former school administrator.

  • Why you should watch it: Although the love story that arose from The golden bachelor It didn't end well, but it was praised for its refreshing depiction of friendship. Let's hope this installment is just as touching.

  • What to know: Independent singers are selected by famous coaches to join their teams. They then compete in competitions and vie for public votes.

  • Why you should watch it: This year, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will join Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani as new coaches, and I can't wait to see them banter.

  • What to know: Celebrities compete in a singing contest while wearing elaborate headdresses to conceal their identity. They are unmasked as they are eliminated.

  • Why you should watch it: I didn't see it last year, so I missed Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard's introduction as the duo in matching beet suits. I can't pass up a moment like that again.

  • When: The first three episodes of Are you smarter than a celebrity? Season 1 streaming October 16 on Prime Video.
